Direct v3 Positions

A direct Uniswap v3 position is an NFT owned and managed by the account that creates it.

#Position ownership

The NFT records the token pair, fee tier, lower and upper ticks, liquidity, and fee accounting. You can hold the NFT directly or deposit it into a compatible incentive contract for a defined period.

#Choose a range

Concentrated liquidity is active only while the market price is inside the selected range. A narrower range can concentrate more liquidity near the current price, but it can also move out of range sooner.

When a position is out of range, it may hold mostly one token and stop earning trading fees until price returns or the position is changed. Changing a range normally means removing liquidity and creating or modifying a position.

#Trading fees and farming rewards

Uniswap v3 trading fees depend on actual volume and in-range liquidity. WeedSwap farming rewards are separate. The NFT must be deposited and staked in a compatible incentive to accrue that incentive’s WEED allocation.

#Planned entry flow

  1. Choose the pair and fee tier.
  2. Choose tick-aligned lower and upper prices.
  3. Enter both token amounts and protective minimums.
  4. Set a short transaction deadline.
  5. Approve the verified position manager and create the NFT.
  6. Stake the NFT only if a compatible, verified incentive exists.

#Withdraw the NFT

The WeedSwap v3 staker lets the recorded owner unstake after the incentive ends, or earlier according to its owner rules, claim accrued reward, and withdraw the NFT once no stakes remain. Guardian pause does not create an admin path to seize the user NFT.

#Risks

Direct positions face impermanent loss, out-of-range exposure, price volatility, token risk, pool risk, approval risk, and smart-contract risk. Direct custody gives control over the NFT but does not remove market or integration risk.

#Current phase

No WEED pool or incentive is active. Final fee tiers, ticks, prices, reward amounts, and incentive times must be verified after deployment before a direct position can earn WeedSwap rewards.
